Sometime, a few months into the year 501, he disappeared without a word. His voice well-known, his exploits public, his accomplishments too long to list, in his mind anyway. And poof, he was gone.
What had happened to the Good Lord Sliper?

The Warlocks, never the sort to suffer a power vacuum, quickly moved on, installing an interim guildmaster and calling for new elections.
Did any of them know where he had gone, or if he was even still alive? Did they care?
Perhaps one, or a group of them, did know. Perhaps he, or she, or they, knew all too well.
After all, who benefits?

Lord Sliper had served as Minister of State for the Kingdom of Goldcroft for decades, overseeing peace and prosperity.
Yet since his disappearance, something strange had occurred in Dirimloth. Was his disappearance related? Could he have prevented this?
Did Lord Croft know what happened to his minister? Was he involved?

Fate was a mysterious thing. Sliper had been vocal about his displeasure with his former Lord Silk, after his opportunism left the loom unoccupied and the Temple closed to new followers. Could Silk, or his agents be involved?

Nothing stays a secret for long in Norland. Whether Sliper was alive, or dead, would eventually come to light. While he may not have had many admirers, there were those out there who would want to know the truth.
Where would such a person begin? Perhaps tracking down the last person to speak to the Lord before his disappearance.

He was always one to throw himself into one thing or another. He had a certain curiosity in him that truly served as a blessing and a curse; leading him down a path, but then back out of it. Guildmaster, Minister of State, Priest- he wasnever going to be able to do fulfill all of these roles simultaneously forever. Eventually one, two, or all three would have to give.
And so they did, and he was gone, the circumstances still unknown.
All that was known now was his return to protest the sisters of Fate and The One himself.
