She was sitting on a stool at the bar, listening to the strange goings on from different people that came in. One particular sort seemed to stick out, but not because he was like everyone else, but because he wasn't. Silent, watching everyone, precise with his movements. There was something about this man that had caught her attention. He didn't speak, that she heard, when he got a drink from the bartender. Perhaps he spoke to him previously and already knew what he wanted with a slight motion she may have missed, wink, nod or something else very subtle. He could have used mind communication of some sort, and if that was the case, she would like to know more of how that is done.

As she watched the stranger that had sat on the other side of the bar from her, an annoyance returned from the day before. Drunk as usual and always obnoxious. She was trying desperately not to spill blood in the bar, but if this man didn't leave her alone, she was likely to cut his throat and leave his body on the floor for her own pleasures. She was saved from having to do so when her business was not concluded here in Goldcroft. His attention was taken elsewhere, whatever it was or whomever it was, she cared not. She was just thankful he was not coming to trouble her once again. When her attentions returned to the end of the bar, she noticed that the man she had been watching had left at some point while this distraction had torn her gaze elsewhere. Muttering about a missed opportunity, she nodded to the bartender who brought her another drink and left her to waiting on the person she wished to meet here.

Sitting there was terribly boring, but her people watching was improving. This wasn't the skill she had hoped to perfect in such a time, but things have kept her intended subject away for a time. She was still hoping she would make her way to the Inn sometime soon. While she was deep in thought, she got a napkin handed to her that had simple directions, "
Room." Quickly she put her drink down and left, heading up to her room. Inside she saw the shadows that had come to see her on several occasions. A slight hand-like appendage came out from the robes of shadows and handed her a message. Inside was a message to her about the work being done in the lab. After having read it, she tossed the message into the fire where she watched it burn. While she was reading, the shadows slipped away unnoticed, knowing they didn't require a response. A smirk crept across her face as she thought about what the message said. Things were moving along as she hoped they would, though slower than she had anticipated.
