Tree of Creation - Pixie Point of View

Post by Shyrae »

From the view of a six inch pixie, everything looks humongous. The Tree of Creation was no exception. Standing on a branch at the top of the tree, wind blowing the leaves and branches to and fro, everything was able to be seen. The branches seemed to spread forever across the lands to her little pixie eyes. Far off in the distance mountains can be seen, some so high their peaks have the fluffy whiteness of snow. Those were much too far off to consider going to just yet.

Going into the tree to look around, the leaves seem to gently embrace her body, even giving great care around her wings that are closed up against her back while walking the length of the boughs. Amongst them is a table that seems to be made from the very branches of the tree. There are seats aplenty for any that may come within, that seem to bend and shape to the very body sitting around the table.

Not far from this amazing table is a nook amongst the branches nearly hidden by the leaves. Pushing past them there is an area made for easy relaxation. Strung up at various heights and in various sizes are hammocks made from the softest, strongest material ever seen but not one ever seen before. There is even a wonder if lying down in these hammocks would be safe for the wings. Pondering that possibility for another time, the trip along the tree continued.

Stepping out onto the bough where the table was, and moving further down the length of the tree, the bark seemed to move with the direction she was going making steps to facilitate ease of the descent. With such graceful movement within the bark, its ability to move with each step she takes, she starts to feel the Life within the tree. The Life blessed into it by Deori when planted at the time of creation itself.

Standing at the base of the tree, the little pixie takes in the enormity and significance of it all, shuddering in awe and leaving a mess of pixie dust behind her. Looking closely at the smoothness of the inner walls, it is hard to imagine that this is the inside of a tree. One would expect a slight splinter when running fingers along the inside of a tree at the very least, yet they seem as smooth as something that has been sanded and waxed to a slight sheen.

Even through all of this wonderful and amazing sight, there is one slight imperfection in this smoothness, a knothole that is still bigger than this pixie. Tracing a finger along the intricate details of this knothole and getting a feel for the uniqueness and genuine feel of this really being a tree, a normal sized person could put enough pressure on this knothole during their exploration of the details to find something new.

Re: Garden of Creation - Pixie Point of View

Going through the newly found location, the sun bursts through the branches and leaves above shedding light onto a garden brighter than any seen before. There are more colors floating on petals and leaves than was thought to exist, especially in blossoms and foliage. Flitting from flower to flower, the pixie gets a closer look at the vibrance of the garden. The wild animals that have taken residence in these safe confines go about their business, only taking notice when a rain of dust coats the garden, and their fur.

Looking around, and seeing so many different sights, a direction is chosen to wander and see what may be. In the direction that is chosen, the sun doesn’t seem as bright here, as snow takes over, falling around her are flakes that are half her size. Quickly making for the cover of an evergreen along with other creatures that seem to call this wondrous cover home, the chance is taken to look around at everything in sight. The evergreen itself is covered in the pure whiteness of snow yet seems to take on a brightness and life unlike any she’d seen in the wild.

The sun, even in its meager existence here, makes the snow seem blinding. The greenness of the grass seems to persevere even under the blanket of snow that lays upon it. Flying through the evergreen, a strange and amazing sight is found. As she watches, it seems to sprout a bud, opening to show a most magnificent rose that is touched with the slightest bit of frost, even whiter than the snow itself yet with the briefest bit of blue tinged within. This sight was worth the chill that made her shake, adding pixie dust color to the snow’s whiteness below.

A trail of pixie dust follows the sprite as she moves to another section of the garden. The snowflakes that hung in her hair, and thankfully not her wings, would soon melt in the warm autumn sun that shone in this area. The trees here are just as tall as the ones in the wintery section, but of different types. The leaves here were full and not needles. The evergreens were still green under the snowy blanket covering them. These trees had full leaves though their color was not only shades of green, but reds and oranges, yellows and golds. Though they fell onto the ground making a colorful blanket on the bright green grasses, they didn’t look bare, but majestic as the fruits they bared were showing more openly for others to pick and eat. Even in something as simple as a tree, Deori made sure to provide for his future children.

Flying around from the autumn section of the garden to another, she sees the beautiful signs of springtime everywhere. Shoots of newly growing plant life show through the soil that looks quite the lovely shade of brown with just enough water to make it wet but not overly so. Sitting on a leaf of one of the more open flowers, she watches as the shoot seems to grow before her eyes, the bud forming and slowly opening into a magnificent rose. Thinking back, she remembers the icy rose from winter. The two are very different but both seem to be equally brilliant in their own special way. The springtime growth of life is something quite spectacular, and being able to see it happen before her wondrous.

Making the flight from the springtime wonder she finds the next section of the garden, that of summer. The flowers here are in their next stages from those of springtime. Their full bloomed beauty a celebratory firework of color amongst the luscious green grasses. The creatures of the lands are frolicking in the sun that provides for these blossoms. They are quite oblivious of things in the area other than their own fun until a dog's barking at her in the sky brings their attention to her. Instead of running and hiding from the intrusion to their games, she is recognized as one of them and motioned to join in.
