Commands

The commands in Terris allow for you to interact with yourself as well as others in the game. Think about your actions carefully, once you do them they cannot be taken back.

Description: This will allow you to customize an action that your character is doing or an emotion that you are feeling.
Activate

Description: This allows you to activate items that have spells inside of them. The item does not need to actually be held to activate it, it can be worn or in your pack. Items in your locker or stable though cannot be activated from there.

Description: This will allow you to advance a monster or a specific monster during combat. When you are advanced it also means that the monster can attack you.
AFK

Description: This will allow you to inform others that you are “Away from your Keyboard”. When others are in the same room as you they will see (AFK) next to your name. You can also use the official Terris Front End Client to set an automatic response to players that contact you while you are in AFK status.
Aim

Description: This command is directly linked to the Called Shot skill. The higher your skill, the better chance you have to land an attack. You will also be able to do more damage with each attack.
Apply

Description: While at a shop this will allow you to show the shopkeep an item that you are holding. They will be able to provide you with an estimated value of the item if you choose to sell it.
Awards

Description: This will allow you to view specific official rewards that you have received while in Terris. These are noted by Vasari as she adds them to the story of your life. These can come from completely quests, finding Marker Stones, or joining guilds.
Balance

Battlecry

Description: Each character will have the ability to set their own Battlecry. This will show when:

Berserk

Description: This will make you attack with more power, however it will remove much of your defense. To see what Battlemode you are in, you can type Stats in-game.
Bet

Description: This will allow you to play roulette and win some gold. You can have 4 bets at one time and can bet up to 1,500 gold at one time. Gold that is lost due to gambling will NOT be replaced.

Description: This command is used to break items apart. Any type of item can be broken as long as it actually has something to break into. You will need to hold the item in your right hand to break it.
Brief

Description: This allows for shorter descriptions at locations, however when in this state you may miss important room features.
Cancel

Description: This will allow you to remove a Wish that is pending for a member of staff to respond to.
Cast/Chant

Description: This will allow you to begin casting a spell to target another person. The more you learn a spell, the better chance you have of being successful.

Charge

Description: This will allow you to attack without first advancing an enemy. Charge will only work with Onehanded, Twohanded, or Martial Arts weapons. The additional damage and attack chance are dependent on your Riding skill.
Chat

Description: Chats were designed for people to ask OOC questions that are within the scope of the game.
Citizen

Description: This will allow you to change your citizenship at very low levels between Devardec, Tranos, Woodtop, Hellegost, and Frostfall). Once you reahc level 4, you will need to complete the form to request a citizenship change. Note: This is only available for subscribed players.

Citytithe

Description: This will allow you to tithe 5% of your experience to the city you are a citizen of. The maximum tithe amount is 10. The more you tithe to your city, the higher your city level will become.
Classrank

Combine

Description: This will allow you to combine the two items that are in your right and left hands.
Concentrate

Description: This will cut down on the amount of text that you see during combat. When you are in this state you will only see attacks against yourself.

Defense

“Get all” attempts to pick up all items and gold.
“Get <amount> gold” will allow you to pick up the specified amount of gold.
Glance

Description: This command is used by the guildofficers to try and BUY the power of luck for their guild. Having luck on you guild’s side will greatly enhance your skills.

Description: Deposits the amount specified into the guild bank account. Only the guildmaster can remove funds from the guild bank account.

Description: This command will list your current details regarding your guild. Included in this list are your current guild rank, the name of your guildmaster and officers, as well as the amount of gold and exp that it holds in the guild accounts.

Description: The tithe sets what percentage of your earned experience will be given over to your guild level. The maximum that you may tithe is 75%. The more levels that you acquire the more access you have to guild shops.

Description: This is a battlemode that will allow you to block the majority of attacks from other monsters. While you are parrying, you will find that your defensive ability is increased. However, your offensive ability will now be lowered making you unable to effectively land an attack.

Description: Allows you to whisper something to a player in your current location. Only the specified character will hear you.

Description: Allows you to see who is online currently.
Who will display the currently online Immortals, Heroes and Legends and the number of mortals.
Who (class) will display the number of the specified class who are online.
Who (name) will tell you if the specified person is online
Where
Use: Where or Where (class) or Where (player name)
Example: Where or Where Sorcerers or Where Deori
Description: Shows the WHERE information
Where displays a list of all online players and their where information
Where (class) displays a list of all online class members and their where information
where (name) displays the specified player’s where information if they are online.
Whofull
Use: Whofull or Whofull (class) or Whofull (name)
Example: Whofull or Whofull Sorcerers or Whofull Deori
Description: Allows you to see a list of all online players. (Careful, this may be long!)
Whofull (class) will display a list of players online who are the specified class.
Whofull (name) will tell you if the specified player is online, with more detail than Who.
Whogo
Use: Whogo
Example: Whogo
Description: Displays a list of all guild officers who are online.
Whotl
Use: Whotl
Example: Whotl
Description: Displays a list of all temple leaders who are online.
Wish
Use: Wish (message)
Example: Wish (I can’t find an exit, can you please help?)
Description: Sends your message to the heavens.  

You should use this command with caution. Please do not wish for any gold, items,
enchantments, teleporting or quest information.

Withdraw
Use: Withdraw (amount)
Example: Withdraw 100
Description: Removes the specified amount of gold from your bank. Must be used at a Bank.

Description: Sends your message to all players who are online and listening to shouts.
