August 2015 Update
Engine Changes:
1. Pickpocket/Pickitem
– Being Invisible or Hidden are no longer a requirement for using the pickpocket skill
– If you are Invisible you have a higher chance of success
– If you are Hidden then your chance of success remains as it is now, though it decreases the more monsters exist
– If you are Visible then the chance of success decreases the more monsters exist more greatly
2. Mounts
– When describing a mount in a shop it will show you the entrance/exit text
– When examining a mount it will show you the entrance/exit text
3. Groups
– Groups can now be extended over multple rooms
– You must be in the same room to follow someone, but can then move off and still be in the group
– GTELL: Will continue to work for the whole group
– GROUP: Will continue to work for the whole group, however will show (M) before a name if they are missing
– SPLIT <#>: Will continue to work for the whole group
– SPLIT <#>: Can now be used by those people that are not leaders of the group
– Group Spells: Will only work if in the same room
– Group Experience: Will only work if in the same room
– If someone in the group wanders off the leader will see: “
– When returning to the same room after wandering off you will auto-follow that leader
– If the group moves into a room you cannot follow into, you will be in the group but will not follow
4. Rank Lists
– Past staff characters will no longer appear on ranking lists
5. Item Skill Level Names
– We have changes the values and names for the ite skill levels

6. Traps
– These now have the ability to work on a time delay and not just entering a room
– Ex. We can hit you with a cold trap every 60 seconds you stay in the Frozen Wastelands
7. Skill: Skullduggery
– When assassinating a monster the others in the room will gain slightly higher perception rankings
– When assassinating a non-hostile the others in the room will gain even higher perception rankings
8. Character Deletions
– Password
– This now marks the character for deletion once it is logged out (now automated on logout)
– The general password will not be changed
– To cancel the deletion repeat the DELETEOK command
9. Monsters
– Now can be set to trigger based upon an event/examine
10. General
– Fix for message when attempting to wear neckwear when something is already being worn
Content Changes:
1. Item Stats
– All weapons and armor have now had their stats, damage, and resistances updated
2. Azaal Dracons
– Updated names, descriptions, actions
– Updated damage
– Updated resistances
– Added two “bosses”
– Set for range 250-301 (means that Level 300 can fight these)
– Not included: Rooms/Area not done yet
3. Enchanters’ Guild
– Typos fixed
– Now teach Spells: Tongues, Comprehend Languages
4. Thieves’ Guild
– All mounts moved to a stable (south of the main guildhall)
– Guild recall moved to the Guild Entrance Hall
– Guid locker/bank moved to the Guild Treasure Room
– Land locker moved to the Guild Bedchambers
– Land bank moved to the Guild Lounge
5. Assassins’ Guild
– All mounts moved to a stable (northeast of the main guildhall)
6. Temple of Dreams
– Temple locker and bank set
7. Temple of Light
– Temple locker and bank set
8. Item Types
– Drink items will now be the item type of DRINK
– Food items will now be the item type of FOOD
– Gem items will now be the item type of GEMSTONE
– Arcana items are no longer bought by every shop
– Treasure items are no longer bought by every shop
9. Shops
– All bars and inns now have different shops (no more “copied” bars/cafes)
– Many “buy” shops in Devardec are specific for that shop location now
– Bars will no longer buy corpses
