About the Order of Shadows

The sphere of Shadows was first overseen by Lord Kestanan. Under his reign the shadows prospered and the influence of the shadows grew throughout the lands. Along with shadows, Kestanan was in control of Night and Thievery. Powers were later granted to the mortals that shared these same beliefs.

Though the influence of shadows was growing and there were Heroes in Theras, most of its strength within the heavens faded when Kestanan was lost to the world and his followers were left without an Immortal to control the sphere's power for over a century.

Then, as Varnius was about to reap the soul of Zir's Champion Stil near a crowd of angry adventurers attempting to rescue him from Varnius' grip, Lord Silk sprang from the shadows thrusting his dagger into the Dark Necromancer, A killing blow to end his reign of terror.

With the fall of Varnius, Lord Silk ascended from Hero, absorbing the shadows of the lands that had combined with the essence of the slain warlock to become the Immortal of Shadows. Though the Temple now stands different to what it was before, Lord Silk has started anew to bring the Shadows back to the world with Night and Thievary still worshipped under the Sphere.

Whereas once those dedicated their life to the Immortal, Lord Silk has given more power to his followers and made them dedicated to the Sphere itself. With greater control of the sphere, they plan to bring the shadows to the forefront of all life in the lands.
