Temple of Shadows - Shadows Charter

Charter of Shadows

Tenets:

1. The Immortal of Shadows has full and complete control over the Sphere. No mortal can mold the shadows to their will.

2. All Immortals and Heroes are to be respected. You do not have to like them, but you will not start a battle with another Sphere because of your feelings.

3. The calendar day celebrating Kestanan is to be revered above any other landwide holiday.

4. Members of the Sphere are not to steal or harm each other.

Positions in the Sphere:

Immortal – This position is held by the most supreme being in the Sphere. They are a member of the heavens in the highest order and have complete control over their Sphere.

Hand of Shadows – This position is held by the most senior regular member of the Sphere. When the Immortal is not present the one in this position speaks for the Sphere. The person holding this position is also a member of the council of shadows.

Shadow Steward - This is a new position within the sphere. The person in this position oversees land in the name of the shadows. Anyone in this position also sits on the council of shadows.

Priests – Those in this position should be the masters of their path. They should have advanced knowledge of their paths and should be able to lead those below them. The people chosen to take this position have leadership powers and serve on the council of shadows.

Disciples - This is a middle rank within the temple. People holding this title assist the Priests in specific tasks for their path. They are expected to take on teaching roles for those below their rank.

Devotees – This is the first title for those that are just joining a path. People in this role should work with others of their rank to contribute to the temple and path itself. The should be working with the disciples to learn how to master the aspects of the sphere that they have chosen to follow.

Initiates – All members that first join the Sphere begin their journey here. Once they are ready to join a path they can progress to the next step. They will need at least one Devotee of that path to speak for them to the Priest of the path to join.

Elders - This rank is give out only by the Immortal of the Sphere. It is for those no longer active in their position or that once followed Lord Kestanan and hold no official rank now.

Rules:

In order to join you must not have dedicated your life to any existing Immortal. If you wish to leave their orders, you must speak with them and get released first. If you already follow an Immortal that has left the lands you may join at anytime. Your old Immortal holds no power in Terris and therefore cannot stop you. Should someone choose to leave the temple, or should they be removed they will lose all items and gifts bestowed upon them. That person may also be cursed with the disfavor of the Immortal.
