Tools of the Trade

While it could be argued that anything is a possible tool to a resourceful rogue, this guide will focus on the three types of weapons the guild provides to its members. The three types are:

  • One Handed
The basic weapons, used for assassination and/or when brute force is called for. Listed in order of quality, lowest to highest.

    Stilleto Dagger
    Ebon Kris
    Venom Dagger
    Bone-Handled Dagger
    Flammard Dagger
    Blackened Stilletto Dagger
    Serrated Dagger
    Well-Sharpened Dirk
    Sleek Steel Stiletto
    Ruby Dirk
    Black Diamond Bladed Dagger
    Glowing Obsidian Blade
    Jeweled Cinquedea Dagger

  • Fencing Weapons
These are the weapons used in the art of Swashbuckling. The details in the skill and help sections are a bit vague on this most useful ability, so I'll take a minute to clear up some frequently asked questions. Fencing weapons are also One Handed weapons, so your training in that skill matters as well. Your level of the Multiple Attacks skill is also factored in. You can Swashbuckle from hiding, providing extra chances at assassinating that pesky monster. If you are Monk class, this skill will not work for you, nor will it affect your current combos. The trouble with Fencing weapons, is that when you "describe" them in a shop, it does not say if it is or not a fencing weapon. So, I'll list them here, again in order of quality, lowest to highest:

    Silver Fencing Foil
    Slender Iron Rapier
    Ebony-Hilted Scimitar
    Dark Stained Rapier
    Ornate Dress Sword
    Polished Hunting Sword

  • Ranged Weapons
Sometimes, it's best to keep a distance between your and your enemy. With that in mind, the Guild offers training in the arts of using Bows, Crossbows, Throwing Daggers and Darts.

    Hand Crossbow
    Darkwood Crossbow
    Elegant Hand Crossbow
    Bladed Rope Dart
    Weighted Throwing Daggers
    Silk-Stringed Shortbow
    Barbed Throwing Daggers
