The Baronies of Terris

Citizens of Terris are able to choose to live and move between the cities and baronies of the land, engaging in their cultures and even buying their own houses in their chosen home.

There are several cities within the lands of Terris. The most populated centres of culture are:

  • The Desert City of Devardec
  • The Merchant City of Tranos
  • The Elven Forest Home of Woodtop
  • The Northern City of Frostfall
  • The City of Goldcroft
  • The Dwarven Holding of Stone Keep
  • The Scholary Hub of Silver Rock
  • The Artistic Retreat of Lyresong
  • The Criminal's Nest of Twilight
  • The Barony of Catfish

(Click on the city or barony name to visit their website)

To become a Baron in Terris, one must distinguish oneself in the lands of Terris. The Gods notice this and with luck, you may be granted the title of Baron, along with the lands of a Baron.

It is important to note that becoming a Baron is NOT a step towards becoming staff in Terris, though Barons may certainly become so. The two are very different things.

Barons cannot be Guildofficers in Terris. A player must choose to be one or the other. This is because, as landed gentry, no worthy baron would ever lower him/herself to the job of running a guild.

The following mortals have been recognized by the heavens as Barons of their city:

  • Devardec - Unclaimed
  • Tranos - Unclaimed
  • Woodtop - Unclaimed
  • Frostfall - Unclaimed
  • Goldcroft - Lord Hallingford Croft
  • Stone Keep - Unclaimed
  • Silver Rock - Brimbur
  • Lyresong - Unclaimed
  • Twilight - Drogun
  • Catfish - Orean
